US Monetary Base Per Capita vs Gold

Something we received via email:

In 1980, when Gold had it's last bull market peak....it climbed to $950, which was around the US Money Supply per Capita (Black line)

Look at where the black line is now ($8,369)....and it will continue to climb as the Fed prints more money into existence. Will gold once again rise to touch...if not briefly overshoot the US Money Supply per Capita?
